The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation announced a new joint fellowship opportunity earlier this year to support high-quality “born digital” research in the humanities. NEH-Mellon Fellowships for Digital Publication are intended for individual scholars conducting research in the humanities that requires digital formats and digital publication—such as in the fields of art history, musicology, or media studies—which may require multimedia or other digital illustrative tools. The Fellowships provide a stipend of $4,200 per month over six to twelve months.
