CPolly McLean, author of Remembering Lucile: A Virginia Family's Rise from Slavery and a Legacy Forged a Mile High, presented her lecture 'We Know Because We Looked: Archiving the Black Past and Preserving the Future' to a full house at the Blair-Caldwell library on Sat. Nov. 10th. Her lecture was part of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture's Community Curation Denver.
