The University Press of Colorado distributes titles previously published by the Society and Natural Resources Press (formerly Social Ecology Press) at the International Association for Society and Natural Resources, which published accounts of human behavior, natural resources and the environment for classroom adoption and the natural resource professional community. IASNR is an interdisciplinary professional association open to individuals who bring a variety of social science and natural science backgrounds to bear on research and application strategies pertaining to the environment and natural resource issues.
Begining in fall 2020, University State University Press and the Society and Natural Resources Press will copublish the Society and Natural Resources Book Series. Books in this series will be accounts of human behavior, natural resources and the environment for classroom adoption and the natural resource professional community. All proposals for new books in the series should follow the press submission guidelines, and submission will be evaluated by the press acquisitions staff, the series editor and/or editorial board, as well as outside experts.
