The purpose of this guide is to simplify the identification of rockfish found along the Alaska coast. This guide will be of use to fishermen, divers, fish processors, and those involved in fisheries management.
While this guide is intended primarily for Alaskan waters, all rockfish species found off the coasts of Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon are included. Species are arranged alphabetically by scientific name.
