R. Patrick Bixler is a research fellow with the RGK Center for Philanthropy and Community Service in the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas, Austin, and a senior fellow at the Pinchot Institute for Conservation. His work focuses on the intersection of ecology, economy, and governance in both large intact landscapes and urban contexts.
